Our Programs
We distribute food and funds to 270 nonprofits monthly, WHILE OPERATING several ADDITIONAL programS
Ozarks Food Harvest receives, processes and distributes enough food for nearly 2 million meals each month. That’s enough food to fill 73 semi-trucks, carrying $2.75 million worth of groceries to a network of 270 charities, and that’s every month. The majority of the food received at the O’Reilly Center for Hunger Relief, the home of Ozarks Food Harvest, is donated. These donations are inspected and repacked by about 1,650 volunteers each year. Last year, The Food Bank infused more than $37 million into the Ozarks’ economy, making Ozarks Food Harvest the largest umbrella charity in southwest Missouri, providing the most resources to nonprofits in the region.
The Food Bank also offers six feeding programs and two additional donation programs, beyond food distribution for a network of partners across 28 counties.
